Due out in Paperback December 1st 2009 for $14.99 it is highly recommended by Customer Amy Armeni; here's what Amy has to say:
I read SAVING CICADAS by Nicole Seitz. I really liked the book. It was engaging, and I found myself anxious to figure out the secrets of the family in this book. It is very surprising and even when I thought I’d “gotten it,” there was still another twist at the end. I’d love to say more, but I don’t want to give away the ending. I highly recommend this book. The Brutal Telling by Louise Penny (Armand Gamache Series #5) Hardcover, $24.95
Here is what customer Betts Gatewood has to say about this new release... "I enjoyed this mystery very much. I found Inspector Gamache very endearing, as well as intelligent and funny at times. He quietly and competently led his team of detectives through an interesting case, leaving the reader wondering until the very end who the killer was. The setting of Quebec, Canada added an interesting twist and I enjoyed learning about some of the myths and legends of the Canadian natives. I also liked the fact that even though a murder took place the author did not need to divulge all the gory details of the event. Sometimes mysteries get lost in the blood and gore of the crime instead of sticking to solving the case. I would gladly read another Louise Penny novel! Golf, Naked is one of those new books on the sport which is quite "revealing." No matter if you show splendor in the grass or are one of those would-be-greats who wraps his club around the nearest tree, you're certain to enjoy Greg Rowley's book. It's informative, funny and easy to digest. You'll also enjoy the illustrations, including two by his six-year-old daughter, Talin. She says of her dad, "Nowadays, he can be found running over things with his jeep." Reccommended by Dwight Frady, a 53 year editor / sports editor with the Gastonica NC Daily Gazette and the Belmont N.C. Banner |

The House on Tradd Street by Karen White
I thought it was a very good book--full of suspense; it kept me reading and I finished it in a few days. The representation of Charleston was beautiful and perfect, the description of the architecture and furniture was fascinating and detailed, and the blend of an old mystery with its modern reprecussions was thrilling. I enjoyed it very much. Kaley Struble
