I just got done reading the Lightning Thief.  It was a very good book.   It is about a kid named Percy Jackson and he is the son of a Olympian.  He has been to 6 different Boarding Schools in 6 years. They are on a  field trip and all of a sudden he Slashes his teacher in half with a  sword. So the only safe place to go is Half-Blood Hill where
Half-Blood camp is. He meets a lot of Friends. A good Friend at the
start of the book betrays him and he goes on an adventure to get back
Zeus's Master Bolt back and if not, it will start WWIII.

If I give this book a rating from 1 to 10 I would give it a 8. I would Like more people
to read this book and the rest of the series of Percy Jackson & the
Olympians.

 Next book to review will be The Big Field.
