"I enjoyed this mystery very much. I found Inspector Gamache very endearing, as well as intelligent and funny at times. He quietly and competently led his team of detectives through an interesting case, leaving the reader wondering until the very end who the killer was.  The setting of Quebec, Canada added an interesting twist and I enjoyed learning about some of the myths and legends of the Canadian natives.  I also liked the fact that even though a murder took place the author did not need to divulge all the gory details of the event.  Sometimes mysteries get lost in the blood and gore of the crime instead of sticking to solving the case. I would gladly read another Louise Penny novel! "
