Golf, Naked is one of those new books on the sport which is quite "revealing." No matter if you show splendor in the grass or are one of those would-be-greats who wraps his club around the nearest tree, you're certain to enjoy Greg Rowley's book. It's informative, funny and easy to digest. You'll also enjoy the illustrations, including two by his six-year-old daughter, Talin. She says of her dad, "Nowadays, he can be found running over things with his jeep." Reccommended by Dwight Frady, a 53 year editor / sports editor with the Gastonica NC Daily Gazette and the Belmont N.C. Banner |

The House on Tradd Street by Karen White
I thought it was a very good book--full of suspense; it kept me reading and I finished it in a few days. The representation of Charleston was beautiful and perfect, the description of the architecture and furniture was fascinating and detailed, and the blend of an old mystery with its modern reprecussions was thrilling. I enjoyed it very much. Kaley Struble
